Export tables to Excel quickly and easily
Excel is one of the leading formats for viewing and analyzing table data. The default Excel export component included with Dimensions provides this capability. However, it applies only limited formatting and can be slow depending on the number of tables exported. For example, some projects take 30 minutes or more to export to Excel.
The Verge Excel Export component has been developed to allow for rich formatting as well as significantly increased performance. The Verge Excel export gives users the capability to:
Export 100’s of tables in seconds
Produce formatted ready to use Excel documents
Export a wider variety of document formats
Microsoft Office 2003 (XLS)
Microsoft Office 2007 (XLSX)
Adobe PDF (PDF)
Excel HTML Document (HTM)
Works with a variety of Dimensions products
mrStudio

Better Formatting : Based on customer feedback, the Verge Excel Tables Export has some additional formatting options applied that enhance the looks of the Excel tables.
