This post just appeared through Linked-In and the survey is currently in-active.

However this post is almost a year old, so I'm guessing that you're not looking for feeback now.

Thanks a lot for the response. First of all I would love to congratulate you on the tremendous job you are doing by imparting knowledge through Smarter Dimensions. The lessons of Flash helped me to move ahead as far as creating generic questions in multi select & grid as well. The credit goes to Smarter Dimensions Team.

Now moving on to the problem I faced, it was due to a silly mistake of mine. I had deleted the id="FlashLesson4" in the template, as I found that it was absent in the code displayed on the site. Hence there was no communication between the actionscript and javascript, which resulted in xmlPath value to be null.

Once again I thank the Smarter Dimension team for the help. Your initial lessons are enough to ignite a spark to move ahead.

Can you please tell me how to validate a Ranking grid with answer groups.
DDL 5.5 has a function for validating Ranking grid without answer groups, i need a validation function that can be used in the Routing section to validate Ranking Grid with answer groups.

We have developed QAreporter. This is a combination of a script and (optional) template addition to SPSS/IBM Dimensions that provides you an on-screen or email summary for the respondent of all questions and given answers at any time during a survey.

Respondents effectively get a 'print' button during the interview, which can use to print all answers given up to the moment of clicking the button.
If you prefer to send the respondent a complete overview upon complete by email, this can be set up a complete automatic operation.
For more information, please visit our website.
