News : Smarter Dimensions February 2010

Well we have had a great start to the year , 7 articles last month and we have started the articles on ODBC connections in your surveys. We have at least three more articles to release and then we will get started on our articles around concurrency and specs and architecture of hardware.

In the article What spec hardware should I buy- we asked you to send us your IVW log files. We have had a few, but we would love some more particularly from people that have cluster setups. These files will help us work out a good way to estimate load, so please if you can , send us your log files , we will of course keep everything confidential and not release any of your files or information we extract to anyone.

Are the people that use our sites shy ? A while ago we asked you to comment on this site and lets us know what you think about the articles we have written and the ones you might want us to write. At this stage no one has mentioned anything , so please , if you have something that you want to see happen on our sites or blogs then let us know here.

Some of you may have noticed that we have also created a new group in LinkedIn. Its called IBM SPSS Data Collection so feel free to join up and then you will be seen when people find the group whilst searching using the IBM keyword.

Don't forget we post jobs that we come across via Digsby to all our Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter accounts so make sure that you signup to one of these to keep an eye on what jobs come up. You just might find the new job you are looking for this year.
