Happy Birthday Smarter Dimensions !!! October 2009 Newsletter.

Well can you believe it we have done 12 months, we must admit we were very unsure as to how things would turn out when we first started all this, but we think we have done some great things over the past year and helped promote the use of Data Collection and show just how powerful the software is. So , back to it , what happened last month , well we have started to learn Flash and you should be seeing the first article on that in the coming week and we have completed out Mobile survey and questions about the IBM / SPSS acquisition ( you can see the results here ) as well as get articles out, so another great month again we think.

Some of you may have missed this article from Forget Data about Nesting variables without using nests, its a good article, you should take a look.

It will be an interesting time from now on, what will IBM do with Data Collection? Will it be business as usual and are the 82% of people that answered our poll question correct in saying that the IBM acquisition of SPSS is a good thing. What will they do with the heritage products like Quantum & Surveycraft? Who knows ... but you can bet that as soon as we hear anything you will hear about it also.
