News : Smarter Dimensions June 2009

So what have we been up to this month? Well some of you will notice the POLL we have created asking you what you think of the renaming of Dimensions. At present about 75% of the people taking part in the poll don't like the new name change, but to be honest, not all of us like the change so it is kind of expected. Anyway all the the comments will be made available in a few weeks time when we close the Poll. Here are two of the comments logged already

Q: Do you like the New Name ?

Yes : As a user of Dimension Net, I see many enhancements and changes. These changes are partly due to my company's needs. As far as I am concerned this is not the same Dimensions we started with.

No : I understand the umbrella name for analytics, but the name is very unwieldy. "PASW Data Collection Author Professional" instead of "mrStudio"...seriously, who is going to call it that? The rename needs to be something short & catchy or it won't take hold.

We are slowly getting the demo site up, but it is taking much more time than expected, hopefully it will be up and running by the end of the month.

The spammers have been back, but hopefully we have them under control again. Sorry if anyone got any un-savoury links sent to them, hopefully the measures we have in place will not allow this to happen again. We have also had to uninstall the ratings, for some reason the app we were using stopped working. At this stage we will be looking into another way of doing this.

Don't forget to check your subscriber details. Login to the website and see how you can change your settings. You may have noticed that the HTML version of the page that gets sent to you has a bug in it. We are talking to the developers about this.
